Well, there you have it ladies and gentleman, wizards, witches, creatures of the night, and muggles the final Harry POtter movie has been released as of last night at midnight. It is a sad day for us all, but we still have have the dvd release. Well, Harry Potter will live on in our hearts forever and ever!!! <3

Lately Warner Brothers has been looking at the way 3d movies have been a sensation like James Cameron’s Avatar and Alice and Wonderland. They have decided to create the Final adventures of the worlds best Wizard just a litttle higher than Gandalf, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2 are to be in digital 3d. I can’t wait to see the hottest wizard the world has ever seen in 3d. Watch out the spells are flying!

Yates on ‘bare’ Radcliffe in Deathly Hallows, more
Several weeks ago, sites around the internet began picking up a rumor that Dan Radcliffe would bare all for the “The Silver Doe” chapter in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Now, confirmation comes from a new interview with director David Yates on VideoBusiness.com:

Besides detailing Half-Blood Prince, Yates and others also offered some surprising sneak peeks to the final two theatrical installments of the Harry Potter franchise, slated for 2010 and 2011 release. At certain points, Radcliffe will appear naked.

In one scene, “a horcrux [carrying a piece of Voldemort’s soul] defends itself by producing nightmarish visions, and one shows Hermione and Harry embracing and kissing,” explained Yates. “It’s something intriguing and sensual for Rupert to react to, and Dan will be bare for that.”

The article also includes comments similar to our earlier story where the cast and crew comment on the new Half-Blood Prince DVD and SS/COS Ultimate Editions. Heyman in particular noted that the Half-Blood Prince DVD has more extras than past Potter films. On lack of features in the past, Heyman says: “There was a part of me that doesn’t like extras, because I like the mystery of it all. But with the market being the way it is, it’s important to make the title as attractive a proposition as possible.”

JK Rowling feted at G-20 summit

JK Rowling attended today’s G-20 economic summit in London, where the leaders of the world’s major economies convened to work toward global consensus on economic recovery policies. The Telegraph reports that, despite the immense political star wattage on hand, Rowling made her mark, with U.S. President Obama and Russian President Medvedev both taking the time to express their appreciation to her for her books. The paper writes:

The President made a beeline for Miss Rowling, at the end of the Downing Street G20 dinner, and told her that he had read all her books himself and to his children Sasha and Malia.

Miss Rowling then received a second presidential seal of approval for the boy wizard from Russia’s President Medvedev and his wife Svetlana, who not only admitted to having read the Harry Potter books but also asked for her autograph.

Rowling was also seated “in prime position” at a dinner with First Lady Michelle Obama later in the day. The full article can be read here.
